Trip to the OSU airport

We recently found out from a friend that the OSU airport, which is only about 10-15 minutes from us was a fun place to visit and watch planes.  Since Gabriel is fascinated each time one flies overhead, we knew he would love it!

We started out watching through the fence and looking at the planes parked on the runway.  Then, an employee told us there was an observation tower that was open to the public.  This came equipped with crayons and coloring books as well as old controls that you could play with.  Needless to say this was as much of a draw for Will, who spent four years in the air force, as it was for Gabriel.  We only saw a couple of planes take off and land, but it was lots of fun and would definitely be worth a repeat visit.
