Pumpkin Patch

This fall, as we've taken many walks around our neighborhood, Gabriel squeals with glee at every pumpkin he sees.  He actually visits our next door neighbor's pumpkins to say hi almost every day.  In light of this slight obsession, I decided to take him over to a local farm to pick out a pumpkin.

We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch which Gabriel was a bit unsure of at first, but ended up enjoying since it was pulled by a big tractor.  Then, we each picked out our pumpkin and loaded them back up and headed back.
So many pumpkins, which one do I pick?

On the hayride with Mommy.

There was a large daycare group there at the same time as and Gabriel loved watching the older kids (3-5 years old) run around through the corn maze.  He happily chased after them.

He was less than thrilled about the straw maze inside the barn, but he did enjoy the two cows and two bunnies they had that he could pet.  All in all it was a fun little outing for a fall morning.

Petting cows.

First time playing with straw I think.

Not a fan of the straw maze.

Very excited about a big truck driving down the road.

Tuckered out after a fun morning.

  1. That boy is too cute for words! We took the boys to the corn maze/pumpkin patch, too, but they were much bigger fans of the maze. Looks like you guys had a fun day.
