7 years

It doesn't seem possible, but this year, Will and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary.  It seems like just yesterday that we got married!  7 years, a new house and two sweet babies later, here we are.

To celebrate, we decided we wanted to go out for a fancy dinner together and spend a nice evening away together rather than exchanging gifts.  My mom graciously came up to hang out with our boys and put them to bed while we headed out on the town.

We chose a new restaurant to try, G. Michael's in German Village.  We both treated ourselves to an appetizer, nice entree (lamb for Will and lobster for me.  Yum!) and dessert.  It was a nice little place we probably wouldn't have even noticed if we weren't looking for it.  Great conversation and great service made for a wonderful time.

After dinner, we decided we wanted to catch a movie.  Since we haven't been to see one in quite some time, we opted to save some money and go to the cheapie theater.  We picked The Dark Knight Rises and both really enjoyed it.  The only downfall was the heavy rain on our way in leaving us a little wet.  But, all in all it was a great date night all around.
