1st Family 5k

At the beginning of last month (yeah I know I'm behind) our family completed our first 5k together.  We ventured out to Pataskala in support our friends the Bish's and their foundation that supports pediatric cancer.  It was definitely a new perspective for me since I'm used to running in these types of races.  We started out with Eli in the front carrier and Gabriel in the stroller.  We wanted to let Gabriel choose how much, if any, he walked or ran.  He chose to get out just after we passed by the first mile marker.  He then proceeded to walk or run pretty much the entire second mile.  He probably even went farther than that since his path was a zig zag in order to check out all the cones and rocks along the way :)  He climbed back in to ride for the last mile.  After the race, there was a car show that Will and Gabriel checked out.  (Eli was fussy and just wanted to be inside where it was cool)
