Eli in the pool

In the past week or so, Eli tried out three different pools.  He took his first dip in Gabriel's baby pool in the backyard.  So far this summer, Gabriel hasn't wanted to swim in it so we decided to let Eli give it a try.  He seemed to like it.  Next, he tried the big pool at my Mom's house.  He wasn't too sure about it, but didn't cry like Gabriel did on his first swim.  However, he wasn't quite big enough to sit in the baby boat yet so he just got to "swim" in Mommy arms.  Yesterday, we went to a pool party with some friends and Eli took another swim with Mommy.  Gabriel still seems more interested in dry land activities even in the extreme heat.  I'm hoping it's just a phase and he's not developing a fear of water!
